The details
Newest sign of chess
The Malaysian chess directory, marked as updated in 2026, describes weekly over-the-board meetups every Saturday from 3 pm to 6 pm, all ages and levels welcome, with free membership, and gives the latest venue only to people who ask. The Chess.com club page “Kuala Lumpur Poggers by Chess.com”, run by the same organiser, names Chiquyo Japanese Restaurant in Amcorp Mall, Petaling Jaya, as the meeting place for the same Saturday slot. The two sources differ on the venue: the directory gives none, and the Chess.com page is undated and shows no club activity since May 2023, so the Amcorp Mall venue is not confirmed as current.
